Dubstep Rundown Part 7: Coki

Coki and Mala are the two guys running one of the absolute top dubstep labels, DMZ. You wouldn’t usually think that he would also be releasing great music, but he is! Coki’s releasing awesome tunes in various constellations perhaps most widely known for his collaboration with Mala under the Digital Mystikz name and together they have received a massive amount of praise and even some mainstream recognition when they released the song Anti War Dub that was featured in the movie Children of Men. He also famously collaborated with Benga to create one of the biggest dubstep bangers ever, the incredibly awesome Night, that’s posted below to give you and idea of what he’s up to.

Benga & Coki – Night

Coki doesn’t have a Myspace, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look up some of the greatness of DMZ on Myspace

That was it! But if you liked this serious you can still read the introduction post or read the previous posts. But stay tuned here on Going Other Places, the great music will keep on flowing!

  1. Hey, I really enjoyed your Dubstep Rundown posts. If you like this kind of stuff, I have a lot of interviews with unsigned producers on my blog. Maybe take a look and let me know what you think 🙂
